What to expect
Once you are settled in, you start by drawing your pattern with a red pencil directly on the porcelain or carbon paper. I provide illustrations to inspire you, it’s up to your imagination for the rest! A wide palette awaits you: red, yellow, blue, green, purple... Start by mixing the powder paints with the right medium that matches your needs. I will introduce you to the different mediums and their functions. The thickness of the paint gives different shades. The techniques will be explained. Be careful, some colors can be mixed, but not all, but that’s also what makes interesting! After finishing the painting, cleaning and maintenance of the brushes will be explained in order to preserve the long life of the brushes.
Please note that there is a risk of breakage when the pieces are fired. I will do my best to avoid this, but once the oven is locked, the heat will do its work .
